Sambangan Trekking Adventure

Sambangan adventure offers a great adventure package for who wants to explore the real beauty of Balinese scenery especially Sambangan village. There are many exciting destinations in Sambangan village such as waterfalls, rice fields, Tirta Kuning, (the holy water which has five different colours). There are also many plantations such as clove, cacao, palm tree (where they make palm sugar) and coffee.

Sambangan village is an exciting place for trekking because it has 7 waterfalls namely Pucuk, Kembar, Kroya, Aling Aling, Canging, Dedari and Cemara. During the trekking you will visit those exciting waterfalls.
There are three trekking options:

1. Short Trekking

For the short trekking we accompany you to explore the four waterfalls in Banyumala river. You can jump and slide down from Kroya waterfall and will take you to see the rice field. The trekking takes about 2 hours (water included).

2. Medium trekking

The medium trekking takes about 4 hours, after a short walk from the main street you will have a nice view over the rice fields, the city of Singaraja and the mountains. We continue and walk through Pebantenan village there you find many kinds of plantation like cloves, cacao, pineapple, jack fruit, cassava and many more. Then we go down to the Banyumala river and here we can relax and swim. After the break we continue walking about 20 minutes to the other 3 waterfalls namely Kroya, Pucuk and Kembar and we finish in Aling Aling waterfall (water included).

3. Long Trekking

This trekking starts from Tiying Tali dam. It takes about 6 hours. Along the trip you will see many kinds of plantations such as coffee, cacao, snake fruit, palm trees, jack fruit and banana. You will also pass the beautiful rice fields and along the trip you will meet the real traditional Balinese people with their hospitality. Also you will see farmers working and cultivating their rice field. In this trekking you will find 7 waterfalls. After walking about 1 hour we will find the first waterfall which is called as Canging waterfall. The second waterfall is Dedari waterfall and the third waterfall is Cemara waterfall.

After visiting these three waterfalls we continue our journey. We go down passing a beautiful scenery of rice fields. Then we go to the Ambengan village and you will go down to the river where you will find four more waterfalls (Pucuk, Kroya, Kembar and Aling Aling).
You will get a lunch box and water during this trekking.

Besides swimming we can also do another unique activity which is jumping and sliding. These activities will be unforgettable for you because it is very challenging and you will not find these activities in any other waterfall. At the end of the long trekking you will finish in the parking area.
