The waterfalls are located in Gitgit Village, Sukasada District) 10 km from Singaraja. There are three waterfalls (and possibly more) in this area. The first one is simply called Gitgit waterfall.
The waterfall is located much deeper in a kind of valley surrounded by green trees and beautiful flowers. You walk on a concrete path and this is easy to do, there are also some stairs.

Once you arrive at the waterfall, you actually walk to the end of the valley where the water falls down through the mountainside, the water then flows further away into a kind of river with many large rocks, it is a beautiful piece of nature, there is a temple, a bale and beautiful flowers grow there.

Like said there are three waterfalls, the second one, about 1 km uphill, is a relatively small one so it was skipped. The third one is a big one and is called Gitgit Twin Waterfall and is about a walk of 600 meter downwards.
You walk to the start of the path which goes down steeply, also here many stairs, there is a handrail but that is not really solid.

Along the way still a beautiful nature with flowers and trees and nice views. You walk about 600 meters down, sometimes with stairs, and eventually you arrive at a kind of gazebo, you go to the other side of the water via the bridge and with some clambering along the water you reach the point where the water comes from and which falls with great speed in the small pond where it flows down.

The water of the Twin waterfall comes from even higher from a higher point and flows down at great speed, from where the water comes down on the highest level (where you can go) it flows 3 levels to down and looks beautiful, the amount of water which falls down here is amazing.

It is a beautiful waterfall in a beautiful piece of nature and is definitely worth the walk for both waterfalls.
